Convenor's Report 2023

The Convenor's report recaps a busy year at Pyrmont Action, including efforts towards Pyrmont Peninsula Place Strategy (PPPS) implementation and attracting new members. Advocacy for public transport, EV charging stations, and Ultimo Powerhouse preservation were discussed. The workload will be shared more equitably, and a new modus operandi is being developed. Key projects like Bays West Strategy and West Metro Station were updated. Challenges with large-scale developments and traffic issues were raised. The closure of Pyrmont Community Centre prompted community activities elsewhere. The report also acknowledges committee members' valuable contributions and the Convenor's intention to retire.
